Kai Cenat Fortnite Skin: Six Shop Days in a Year, and the 3,500-V-Buck Bundle

The Kai Cenat outfit arrived on 12 September 2025 at 1,800 V-Bucks and has been listed on exactly six days since — 13–14 September 2025 and 1–4 September 2026 — while its AMP KAI style has had 28. The record, the Icon Cup route and what scarcity here actually means.

The Kai Cenat Fortnite skin is an Icon Series outfit sold at 1,800 V-Bucks that entered the Item Shop at the 12 September 2025 reset (5 PM PT; 13 September UTC on fnbr.co) and has been listed on six days in the year since — the launch weekend of 13–14 September 2025 and an anniversary window of 1–4 September 2026. Its second outfit, AMP KAI, also 1,800 V-Bucks, has had 28 shop days. That split is the most interesting fact in this dossier, and the one no other page records.

What the Kai Cenat skin is

Kai Cenat (catalogue id Character_EssayViewMyth, description "Kai has entered the chat.") and AMP KAI (Character_EssayViewPier, "Victory by any means possible.") were added to the fortnite-api.com catalogue on 10 September 2025, introduced in Chapter 6 Season 5, both Icon Series rarity, both in the Kai Cenat set. The collaboration was revealed at a Sphere event in Las Vegas ahead of release. The set is unusually large: a Lil' Cenat back bling modelled on the streamer's late hamster, the Fire Hazard and AMP Zap pickaxes, the Pyro Rocket and AMP items, the emotes The Tylil Dance and Rocket Recline, an Air Jordan 4 Retro OG 'Bred' cosmetic, and a Mercedes-AMG vehicle with decals.

Release date, prices and the bundle

The shop listed the collaboration on 12 September 2025 at 5 PM PT. Prices per fnbr.co: Kai Cenat 1,800 V-Bucks; AMP KAI 1,800 V-Bucks. The Kai Cenat Bundle was 3,500 V-Bucks and contained both outfits, Lil' Cenat (600 V-Bucks alone), Fire Hazard, AMP Zap, Pyro Rocket, AMP, The Tylil Dance, Rocket Recline and the Air Jordan 4 cosmetic. Pre-release reporting had guessed 1,500 to 1,600 for the outfit and 2,200 to 3,000 for the bundle; the actual prices came in above both guesses, which is worth remembering the next time a pre-release price is quoted as fact.

At US V-Bucks pack prices since 19 March 2026, an 1,800-V-Buck outfit fits in the $22.99 pack of 2,400, and the 3,500 bundle needs the $36.99 pack of 4,500. V-Bucks cards from Eneba, CDKeys or Kinguin (affiliate links; the archive may earn a commission) are the only third-party route this site links.

The free route: the Icon Cup

The Kai Cenat Icon Cup ran on 12 September 2025, the day the shop listing went live, and awarded the collaboration's cosmetics to players who placed high enough — the fandom record names Lil' Cenat and the outfit among the rewards. Icon Cups are the only legitimate "free" route to an Icon Series outfit, they happen once, and the archive notes them for completeness rather than as advice: for the great majority of players, the route is V-Bucks in the shop.

The shop record: six days versus twenty-eight

fnbr.co's history for the base Kai Cenat outfit reads, in full: 13 September 2025, 14 September 2025, 1 September 2026, 2 September 2026, 3 September 2026, 4 September 2026. Six occurrences. AMP KAI's history runs to 28 occurrences over the same period, including a window on 8 July 2026 that the base outfit did not join. In other words, the outfit that carries the streamer's name has rotated once in twelve months — on its anniversary — while the alternate look has rotated regularly.

The archive knows of no Icon Series outfit from 2025 with a tighter record, and it is why Kai Cenat sits in the ledger at all rather than being ignored as an ordinary shop item. But the rarest Fortnite skins ranking files it as the last entry of the table on purpose: an outfit that was on sale on 4 September 2026 is not rare, however few days it has been on sale, and the archive's ordering is by un-obtainability, not by rotation frequency.

Can the Kai Cenat skin come back?

Yes; it is an Item Shop outfit and it just did, on 1 to 4 September 2026. No exclusivity rule applies — Epic's 7 August 2024 policy is about Battle Pass rewards — and the licence is evidently live. What cannot be predicted is the cadence: one anniversary return is a data point, not a pattern, and the archive will update this dossier if a second window appears before September 2027.

What to check in your locker

Both outfits are separate items; owning the bundle grants both, owning either alone grants one. No owner-only style exists on record as of 9 September 2026, and Icon Cup winners received the same items as buyers. The reactive elements are confined to the vehicle decals and emotes.

Reading the record: occurrences, days and windows

fnbr.co counts shop occurrences, and an outfit can register more than one occurrence on a day it appears in several shop sections, so "six occurrences" is a ceiling on shop days, not a floor. For Kai Cenat the six occurrences fall on six distinct dates across two windows; for AMP KAI the 28 occurrences include a solo window on 8 July 2026. The archive quotes the tracker's figure, names the tracker and dates the reading — 9 September 2026 — because the alternative is the undated "rare" that every other page uses. Among the 160 Icon Series outfits in the catalogue on that date, a base outfit with two windows in a year is unusual; it is not, by any definition the archive uses, rare.

In the archive

Kai Cenat is entry No. 009 on the ledger, filed as "in rotation" with a note on the six-day count. For the outfit whose scarcity is a rule rather than a rotation, compare the Predator dossier — a Battle Pass reward that has never been in the shop and never will be — and for the Icon Series release of the same winter that went four months unsold before a July 2026 return, the Playboi Carti dossier.

Inquiries

How much is the Kai Cenat skin in Fortnite?

1,800 V-Bucks for the Kai Cenat outfit and 1,800 for AMP KAI; the ten-item Kai Cenat Bundle is 3,500 V-Bucks. At US pack prices since 19 March 2026 the outfit fits in the $22.99 pack of 2,400 V-Bucks.

When did the Kai Cenat skin come out?

At the Item Shop reset on 12 September 2025, 5 PM PT (13 September UTC on fnbr.co), alongside the Kai Cenat Icon Cup held the same day.

When was the Kai Cenat skin last in the shop?

The base outfit on 4 September 2026, after a window that opened on 1 September; AMP KAI on the same day. Before that the base outfit had been listed only on 13–14 September 2025.

Is the Kai Cenat skin rare?

Scarce in rotation — six shop days in a year for the base outfit — but not rare: it was on sale five days before the archive's verification date, and as an Item Shop outfit it can return at any time.

Can I get the Kai Cenat skin for free?

The only free route was the Kai Cenat Icon Cup on 12 September 2025, which awarded cosmetics to top finishers. There is no code, and any "free skin" page for it is a generator or a scam.
