Exclusive Fortnite Skins: Galaxy, iKONIK, Glow and Every Console-Bundle Outfit, Dated
Eleven outfits were never sold in the Item Shop because they came with a phone, a tablet, a console or a graphics card. Galaxy, iKONIK, Glow, Honor Guard, Double Helix, Wildcat, Dark Vertex, Eon, Neo Versa, Royale Bomber and Reflex — with promotion dates, what is verified and what is not.

Exclusive Fortnite skins, in the strict sense this archive uses, are outfits that were only ever obtainable by buying a physical product — a Samsung phone or tablet, a HONOR phone, a Nintendo Switch, an Xbox One S, a PlayStation 4 or an NVIDIA graphics card — and that fnbr.co records as never having appeared in the Item Shop. There are ten that meet the test and one, Reflex, that famously failed it. This dossier dates each promotion, states which end dates the archive could verify on 9 September 2026 and which it could not, and explains why these outfits rank below Battle Pass rewards despite being at least as hard to find.
Why "exclusive" is weaker than "sealed by rule"
A device exclusive has no published rule protecting it. Epic's 7 August 2024 policy is about Battle Pass rewards; promotional cosmetics are governed by commercial agreements that are not public. In practice none of these outfits has been re-sold, which is a track record, and the archive's evidence ranking treats a track record as weaker than a rule — which is why Galaxy sits in the second tier of the rarest Fortnite skins ranking beneath Black Knight, despite both having zero shop days.
The Samsung three
Galaxy is the exclusive by which the others are measured. Samsung and Epic announced it on 9 August 2018 for the Galaxy Note9 and Tab S4; the Note9 pre-order offer of 10 to 23 August 2018 paired the outfit with 15,000 V-Bucks, and eligible devices could claim it for some time after. fnbr.co records zero shop occurrences. The exact close of the claim window is not verified today, which the ranking marks with an approximate day count.

iKONIK followed with the Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e from their March 2019 launch, developed with Jung Chanwoo of the K-pop group iKON and paired with the Scenario emote. The promotion ended on 27 September 2019.

Glow replaced it the next day, 28 September 2019, for a far wider list — Note10, Note9, Note8, the S10 family, S9 and S9+, several A-series models, Tab S4 and Tab S6 — with redemption closing on 31 December 2019. The wider eligibility is why the archive ranks Glow below iKONIK and iKONIK below Galaxy.

HONOR and NVIDIA
Honor Guard came with the HONOR View20 from January 2019. fnbr.co: never in shop; claim-window close not verified today.

Reflex was announced as a GeForce bundle exclusive in November 2018 and then sold in the Item Shop on 3 and 4 March 2019 for 1,200 V-Bucks — two shop days, none since. Bundle buyers received the Stealth Reflex style as compensation, and that style, not the base outfit, is the exclusive item. The archive files Reflex among the longest-vaulted shop skins for this reason: it has a shop record, however short.

The console bundles, in date order
Royale Bomber was revealed on 22 June 2018 and shipped with a PlayStation 4 bundle from 16 July 2018 alongside 500 V-Bucks — the first console-bundle outfit.

Eon came with the Xbox One S Fortnite bundle from 27 September 2018 (community record; retail coverage dates it to October), with 2,000 V-Bucks, the Resonator pickaxe and the Aurora glider.

Double Helix came with the Nintendo Switch Fortnite bundle from 5 October 2018, with 1,000 V-Bucks, the Pinpoint pickaxe, Telemetry back bling and Rotor glider.

Dark Vertex came with a second Xbox One S bundle from 7 June 2019, with 2,000 V-Bucks, a glider and a pickaxe from the Dark Apex set.

Neo Versa came with PlayStation 4 console and controller bundles from 24 July 2019, from the Neochaser set, with 500 V-Bucks in the controller version.

Wildcat came with the Nintendo Switch Fortnite Special Edition — pre-orders opened in the UK in October 2020, and the bundle reached the US on 30 November 2020 — as a code including 2,000 V-Bucks and the Fleet Force set. It is the newest of the ten and the one most often sold on as a code, which is where the caution below applies.

For all seven console outfits, fnbr.co shows zero shop occurrences and the archive could not verify the date each promotion's codes stopped redeeming. The ranking leaves those day counts blank rather than invent them.
How to tell a promotional exclusive from a shop outfit
Two records settle it. fnbr.co lists a promotional outfit's release date and last-seen date as "Never" with zero occurrences, because it was never a shop listing; a shop outfit, however old, shows a first and last date. And the fortnite-api.com catalogue names the promotion in the set field — "HONOR View20" for Honor Guard, "Dark Apex" for Dark Vertex, "Fleet Force" for Wildcat, "Neochaser" for Neo Versa — where a shop outfit names an ordinary cosmetic set. Recon Expert is the common misclassification: often listed as an exclusive, it shows 121 shop days on fnbr.co and a last appearance on 31 August 2026, and it belongs on no exclusive list.
The archive applies the test to every entry before it is filed, which is why Reflex sits with the longest-vaulted shop skins rather than here, and why the day counts for the console outfits are left blank: the tracker proves they were never sold, but it cannot say when their codes stopped redeeming.
Codes, accounts and what the archive will not link
Unredeemed bundle codes are resold, and a code is not an account — redeeming a genuine code on your own account breaks no rule the archive is aware of. But the code market is where scams, used codes and account-selling sites overlap, and the archive links none of it. Accounts that already hold these outfits are a different matter entirely: Epic's terms make accounts non-transferable, buying or selling one is a violation, and both accounts are banned when a transfer is detected. No exclusive outfit is worth a banned locker.
Could Epic re-sell a promotional outfit?
Nothing in a published rule prevents it, and nothing in eight years of track record suggests it. The archive's position is that a track record is not a guarantee: these outfits rank in the second tier because their exclusivity is commercial, not codified, and the dossier on whether rare Fortnite skins can come back sets the three kinds of protection side by side. For the sealed tier above them, see the Chapter 1 Battle Pass dossier.
Inquiries
What is the rarest exclusive Fortnite skin?
Galaxy, the Samsung Note9 and Tab S4 outfit of August 2018: the narrowest eligible device list of the Samsung promotions and zero shop appearances. It ranks second-tier overall because no published rule protects promotional outfits the way Epic's 2024 rule protects Battle Pass rewards.
Can you still get the Galaxy, iKONIK or Glow skin?
No. The Galaxy claim window closed after the 2018 promotion, iKONIK's promotion ended on 27 September 2019, and Glow's redemption closed on 31 December 2019. None has been in the shop.
Which console bundles had exclusive Fortnite skins?
Royale Bomber (PS4, 16 July 2018), Eon (Xbox One S, autumn 2018), Double Helix (Nintendo Switch, 5 October 2018), Dark Vertex (Xbox One S, 7 June 2019), Neo Versa (PS4, 24 July 2019) and Wildcat (Nintendo Switch Special Edition, October–November 2020). fnbr.co shows none in the shop.
Was the Reflex skin exclusive?
Only briefly. Promised with GeForce bundles in November 2018, it was sold in the shop on 3–4 March 2019 for 1,200 V-Bucks; bundle buyers received the Stealth Reflex style, which remains the exclusive part.
Is it safe to buy a Wildcat code?
Redeeming a genuine, unused code on your own account is not an account transfer, but the resale market mixes used codes, scams and account sellers, and the archive links none of it. Buying an account that already has the outfit violates Epic's terms.

Can Rare Fortnite Skins Come Back? Epic's Rules, the OG Shop and the Account Question
Three different rules decide whether a rare outfit can return — one for Battle Pass rewards since 7 August 2024, one for everything in the Item Shop, none at all for promotional exclusives — plus the OG Season Shop precedent and Epic's terms on account sales.
